The Rural District “Giudicato di Arborea” is born within the framework of the public/private partnership established by the Union of Municipalities of the Phoenicians, Parte Montis, Bassa Valle del Tirso, and the Municipalities of Marrubiu, Samugheo, and Uras, as well as various category associations and the local business system.
The Rural District aims to support the development of communities in an integral and sustainable manner in line with the goals of the 2030 Agenda and the vocations of the communities. Environmental and food education, the enhancement of niche agri-food productions, the hospitality network, quality of life, and the well-being of people and animals are some of the district policies already identified in the initial phase of the participatory process.
